DEGLAS High Impact Acrylic 16 mm Double-Skinned sheet provides a warm glow to the façade of the Waukesha Public Library, Waukesha, Wisconsin Architect: Frye Gillan Molinaro Architects, Chicago Illinois System Designer and Installer: AFX, a division of Sign Effectz, Inc., Milwaukee, WI.

Waukesha Public Library

In 2006, DEGLAS High Impact Acrylic was married with copper and glass
cladding on the facade of the Waukesha Public Library, Waukesha,
Wisconsin. This installation was part of an extensive renovation and addition
program completed in two phases between 2000 and 2006.

Specializing in custom illumination, AFX, an ornamental division of Sign Effectz Inc. of Milwaukee, Wisconsin was commissioned to design and install
DEGLAS on the library's façade.

Adam Brown, of AFX, says, "The use of the light white DEGLAS High Impact 16 mm double-skinned acrylic sheet was influenced by the facade of the Racine Museum in Racine, WI. The deciding factors were its' longevity and durability compared to competitive products, its' aesthetic appearance and especially the soft glow when lit up at night."
